WACO, Texas - The 2013 Big 12 Conference Men's Basketball Media Day will be held Tuesday at Kansas City's Sprint Center, site of the 2014 Phillips 66 Big 12 Men's Basketball Championship.
Live coverage of men's basketball media day will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m. CT at Big12Sports.com. Video of all 10 coaches' press conferences will be available on Big12Sports.com and ESPN3. Joining Drew at Big 12 Men's Basketball Media Day will be preseason All-Big 12 selections Isaiah Austin and Jefferson, as well as senior guards Brady Heslip and Gary Franklin. Freshman Ish Wainright is also making the trip, and he'll work with Sic `Em Sports Productions to provide behind-the-scenes video that can only be found at BaylorBears.com and on Baylor Athletics social media platforms.
Baylor fans will also have chances to win season tickets through Twitter and Instagram. Fans can submit questions to the @BaylorMBB Twitter account by identifying the player with a hashtag in their tweet (ex. #AskCory, #AskIsaiah, #AskBrady, #AskGary, #AskIsh).
Baylor players will also take over the @BaylorMBB Twitter feed at various times, so stay tuned throughout the day to hear from each of the five players participating in Big 12 Media Day.
Numerous questions will be answered, but questions that are answered with Instagram videos will win the Twitter user a pair of season tickets. Additionally, one randomly selected fan will win a pair of tickets to the Dec. 6 Baylor-Kentucky doubleheader at AT&T Stadium, and all who submit questions will be eligible for that prize.
Hosted by correspondent Wendell Barnhouse and streamed on the Big 12 Digital Network, Big 12 Media Day coverage will give fans a unique look into media day as well as team previews and analysis. Barnhouse will conduct interviews with coaches and student-athletes, as well as speak with various special guests.
