THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME
A gutsy, come-from-behind 68-64 semifinal win over Notre Dame Sunday earned Baylor a berth in the 2007 Paradise Jam championship game vs. Winthrop Monday, Nov. 19, 2007, at the University of the Virgin Islands Sports and Fitness Center in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The title game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. CST/9:30 AST and will be televised live nationally on Fox College Sports-Pacific and in Waco on TWC Channel 15.
The Bears (3-0) face a Winthrop (3-0) squad that defeated Georgia Tech (79-73) and Illinois-Chicago (72-58) en route to the final. The championship game will be the first-ever meeting between Baylor and Winthrop.
