Matt Brown is entering his second season as a graduate assistant coach at Baylor. His duties include working with the defense, primarily the defensive backs. He also assists with recruiting and opponent scouting.
Prior to becoming a graduate assistant, Brown spent two years as a student assistant coach at Baylor. During that time, his duties included film breakdown, assisting with the linebackers, self-scouting and assisting with the secondary.
Brown came to Baylor in 1995 from Arlington High School. At Arlington, he played linebacker and received all-district and all-state honors. After redshirting in 1995, Brown earned letters in 1996 and 1997 at Baylor. He received his bachelor's degree in education from Baylor in 1999.
