Sat out three games nursing hamstring injury, returned and played as a reserve cornerback vs. Texas Tech and in win at Colorado (three tackles)... 2009 (Junior): Played in six of 12 games at cornerback as junior in 2009, missed six games due to broken foot...Earned third letter... Start Totaled seven tackles (six solo) on season with one PBU... Started season's first two games at right cornerback before suffering broken foot in second game vs. UConn... Had season-high two tackles and one breakup prior to injury... Sat out next six games before returning for limited snaps at Missouri in ninth game... Matched season-best two tackles in comeback game in upset at MU... Played as reserve in season's final game, making two total tackles.

2008 (Sophomore): Played in 10 of 12 games as sophomore, starter in three games... Finished season with 33 tackles, including six solos... Added eight pass breakups and one interception... Backup cornerback through season's first four games, made only interception of season (second of career) at Connecticut in fourth game... Earned first career start in fifth game vs. No. 1 Oklahoma, totaled then-career-best seven tackles and one tackle for loss... Also started following two contests vs. Iowa State (career-high three PBUs) and at Oklahoma State... Made career-high eight tackles at OSU... 2007 (Redshirt Freshman): Redshirt freshman cornerback saw action in 10 games for Bears and totaled 17 tackles (10 solos) en route to spot on The Sporting News' All-Big 12 freshman team... Also had tackle for loss and an interception on season... Registered one tackle, for loss, at No. 4 Oklahoma... Had then-career-high five tackles (two solos) and first career interception, returned 32 yards, at Kansas State... 32-yard interception return longest recorded by Bear on season... Registered then-career-high tying three tackles (one solo) vs. Rice... Tallied three tackles, all solo, at No. 22 TCU in Bear debut... Four multi-tackle performances in 10 appearances... Saw action on 222 snaps for year, including season-high 65 plays at Kansas State and 56 snaps vs. Texas Tech, to earn first Baylor letter.

2006 (True Freshman): True freshman cornerback sat out 2006 campaign as redshirt... Named to fall Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Carter High School, Dallas, Texas... Started all 12 games for 11-1 Cowboys, who claimed 2005 district title and advanced to second round of playoffs... Totaled 45 tackles, six pass breakups, three interceptions and forced two fumbles as senior... MVP of Carter track team...
