2010 (Sophomore): Played in all 13 games as sophomore, earning one start at linebacker... Regular reserve tallied 24 tackles (16 solo), three for loss, two sacks and two QB hurries... Made three tackles, including one for loss, in win at Colorado in seventh game... Had one sack (-3 yards) and one hurry in win over K-State in eighth game... Made career-high five tackles (four solo) including sack for negative four yards in win at Texas... Earned first career start in 10th game at No. 19 Oklahoma State, finished with two tackles... High School:  Carthage High School, Carthage, Texas... 2007 District 20-3A defensive MVP as senior registered 132 tackles, three forced fumbles and one interception in final prep season... Credited with more than 100 tackles and five sacks as junior en route to first-team all-district honors... District Sophomore of Year... Also lettered in basketball and track... Coached by Scott Surratt at District 20-3A school.
