Fifth-year senior, first season playing tight end at Baylor… Veteran with multiple seasons of starting experience on the defensive line and 34 career games played (sixth-most on squad) entering 2015 season… Moved to tight end and added to roster in September 2015 after spending time assisting coaches after injuries… Central Texas native from nearby Copperas Cove High School... Two-time Academic All-Big 12 honoree... Three-time Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll selection... Graduated in August 2014 with Bachelor’s degree in marketing.

2014 (Junior): Played all 13 games as reserve lineman and on special teams as junior for Big 12 champions… Totaled one solo tackle, and two kickoff returns, on season… Named to 2014 Academic All-Big 12 second team and Fall 2014 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Saw action in six games on d-line, played exclusively on special teams in remaining seven contests… Made solo stop in win over Northwestern State in second game… Had six-yard kickoff return in third game (win at Buffalo) and 10-yarder in sixth game (epic 61-58 comeback win over No. 9 TCU).

2013 (Sophomore): Played in 10 of 13 games, made three starts as sophomore… Missed two games due to knee injury and third due to coach’s decision… Totaled five tackles (0.5 for loss) on season… Started first two games, missed subsequent two due to injury, returned to start fifth game… Played as reserve in seven of final eight games… Made season-high two stops in third start, win at K-State in team’s fifth game... Had assisted tackle-for-loss in historic win over No. 23 Texas that clinched Big 12 championship and school’s first BCS Bowl berth... Named to spring 2014 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 11 of 13 games as redshirt freshman, started four games at nose guard... Earned first collegiate letter... Totaled six tackles (two solo) and one fumble recovery (eight yards) on season... Named to 2012 Academic All-Big 12 second team... Started first four games of season, played as reserve interior lineman in seven of final nine... Registered all six tackles over season's first three games... Made collegiate debut in season-opening win over SMU, started and had two tackles... Started and made one assisted tackle and career-first fumble recovery in win over Sam Houston State in second game... High School: Defensive lineman from Copperas Cove (Texas) High School… Played varsity four seasons under head coach Jack Welch at CCHS… Ranked nation’s No. 32 defensive tackle prospect by and 45th nationally by… Listed among state’s top 100 recruits overall by (97) and Waco Tribune-Herald… Rated top 10 defensive tackle prospect by and No. 10 in state by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football… Ranked No. 4 among all recruits on the Waco Tribune-Herald’s CenTex Top 25 listing… Named 2010 District 12-5A defensive most valuable player after totaling 37 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 14 tackles for loss, seven pressures and three forced fumbles as senior for CCHS team that finished 9-2 and bi-district finalists… Named 2009 second-team All-District 12-5A as junior after totaling 42 tackles and three sacks… Called up to varsity as linebacker at end of freshman season in 2007.
