2015 All-Big 12, honorable mention
2014 (Fall) Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll

All-Big 12 tight end, lettered three years after transferring from junior college… Helped lead Baylor to most successful three-year span in school history: including two conference championships (2013 & 2014 Big 12 titles), 32 wins (17-2 home mark) and Russell Athletic Bowl win… Played 27 career games and made seven starts over three seasons… Used primarily as blocker, totaled seven receptions for 111 yards on career… Transferred to BU from Riverside City (Calif.) College… Named to fall 2014 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll... Traveled to Brazil for mission trip with Baylor student-athletes in May 2015... Graduated in May 2015 with a degree in health, kinesiology and leisure studies.

2015 (Senior): Played in 12 games and started six as senior (missed one game due to injury)… Earned All-Big 12 honorable mention from league coaches… Totaled six catches for 109 yards (18.2 average) on season… Had 35-yard catch in win over Rice in third game and 13-yard reception vs. Texas Tech in fourth game… Made receptions in three-straight games over latter half of season… Had nine-yard catch in win over Iowa State in seventh game… Made five-yard catch in win at K-State in seventh game… Made career-long 39-yard catch-and-run vs. No. 12 Oklahoma in ninth game… Sat out 11th game at TCU due to shoulder injury… Returned to field vs. Texas (no stats) and had one reception for eight yards in Russell Athletic Bowl win over No. 10 North Carolina.

2014 (Junior): Played all 13 games, started once, as tight end and on special teams… Totaled one reception and two special teams tackles on season… Named to fall 2014 Big 12 Commissioner’s Honor Roll… Played snaps from scrimmage in 11 of 13 games, saw action exclusively on special teams in other two… Made career-first start in win over Northwestern State in second game (no stats)… Made season’s only reception in win at Iowa State in fourth game, a two-yard catch from Bryce Petty in third quarter… Had single tackles at Texas (fifth game) and in Cotton Bowl vs. No. 7 Michigan State.

2013 (Sophomore): Played in two of 13 games as reserve tight end in first season at Baylor… Earned first letter… Had zero stats in two games played… Suffered foot injury in second game and missed following six games recovering… Sat out final five games due to coach’s decision… Made collegiate debut in season-opening win over Wofford, had no receptions… Also played in second game but injured foot during win over Buffalo.

2012 (Redshirt Freshman - Riverside CC): Played redshirt freshman season at Riverside City College in Riverside, Calif.... Played under head coach Tom Craft at RCC... Totaled 31 receptions for 425 yards (13.7 average) and three touchdowns in 10 games... Ranked 25th overall juco recruit on ESPN Junior College 100, No. 3 tight end listed... Transferred to Riverside from Grand Rapids (Mich.) CC after football program disbanded.

2011 (True Freshman - Grand Rapids CC): Spent 2011 season redshirting at hometown Grand Rapids (Mich.) Community College... School shut down football program following 2011 season.

High School: Prepped at Jenison (Mich.) High School... Played two varsity seasons, primarily at linebacker and tight end.
