Briles Announces Changes to Offensive Staff

Fourth-year staffer to Jeff Lebby promoted to assistant coach.

Jeff Barlow is in his 13th year at Baylor, his eighth working under head coach Art Briles, and serves as the director of equipment services for the Bears’ football program.

He works closely with Nike to assist in the design of the Bears uniforms, which were voted “College football’s best uniform” in a 2014 Sporting News poll.

A native of Vicksburg, Miss., Barlow received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mississippi State in 2002. As an undergraduate, Barlow served as a student manager for the Bulldog football program from 1998 to 2002.

In the summer of 2002, Barlow served a training camp internship with the NFL’s Houston Texans. He is also a certified member of the Athletic Equipment Managers Association. Barlow and his wife Laura are the parents of one son, Jakob.
