His father, Jay, quarterbacked the Bears to the 1980 Southwest Conference championship and earned All-SWC honors, while his uncle, Neal, started at QB on Baylor's 1974 "Miracle on the Brazos" SWC title club and also earned all-league honors ... His grandfather, James, also earned a pair of letters as a running back for the Bears in 1949 and 1950 ... Recreation leisure services major is slated to graduate from Baylor in Aug., 2005.
