Jeff Lebby is in his fifth season at Baylor and his first as an assistant
coach. He coaches the running backs after serving the previous four
seasons as the assistant director of football operations in charge of
offensive quality control and the NFL liaison.
Lebby joined the Baylor program in the spring of 2008 after coaching
the offensive line/tight ends and teaching at Victoria Memorial (Texas)
High School in the fall of 2007.
An offensive tackle as a prep for his father, Mike Lebby, at Andrews
(Texas) High School, the younger Lebby earned all-state honors as a
Lebby signed a National Letter of Intent with Oklahoma in 2002,
however, an injury forced him to end his playing career. He spent his
final four years at OU as a student assistant coach.
Lebby is married to the former Staley Briles, daughter of Baylor head
coach Art Briles.
