2005: Fifth-year senior Tyler Lindstrom is the Bears' No. 2 linebacker behind Jamaal Harper ... Saw action at outside safety as a junior and made four starts at that position, but returned to linebacker during spring drills ... A former walk-on, Lindstrom was rewarded with a scholarship prior to his junior year by the Baylor coaching staff.

2004: As a junior, he missed four weeks of practice and the season's first two games with a broken hand, but Lindstrom returned to start four of his eight appearances to receive his second letter ... Tallied 15 tackles on the year, 12 of which were solos, three tackles for losses totaling 13 yards, a quarterback sack, pass breakup and quarterback hurry ... Produced four multi-tackle efforts, one of which was a career-high five-stop (all solos) performance at No. 5 Texas in his second career start ... Made first career start against North Texas and responded with a career-high two tackles for loss, one of which was his first sack ... Also drew starts against No. 5 Texas, Missouri and Nebraska ... Played 290 snaps.

2003: Second-team Academic All-Big 12 selection appeared in all 12 games to earn his first varsity letter ... A valuable member of Baylor's special teams units ... Saw spot duty at linebacker ... Credited with 12 tackles, including eight solo stops ... Had three multiple-tackle games, including a three-stop effort (two solo) against Sam Houston State ... Had 87 tackles, three pass breakups, two forced fumbles, a pair of fumble recoveries and an interception from his outside linebacker position as a senior for the 11-1 Wildcats ... His interception was returned for a touchdown ... Second-team all-metro selection as a senior when he was named the Wildcats' Defensive Player of the Year after anchoring a unit which allowed the fewest yards per game of any in the state ... Helped team to a runner-up state finish as a junior ... Millard West was 21-3 in Lindstrom's two varsity seasons, advancing to the playoffs both seasons ... Personal: The son of Dan and Deb Lindstrom, Tyler Dan Lindstrom was born Sept. 22, 1982, in Lincoln, Neb. ... Business management major ... Father, Dan, earned three varsity letters at Nebraska from 1978-80, while his uncle, Roger Lindstrom, was a two-year (1983 and 1985) NU letterwinner and another uncle, Scott Lindstrom, played for the Huskers from 1978-82.
