2006: Fifth-year senior Mario Price is expected to contribute on special teams and at running back, where he stands No. 3 behind co-No. 1's Paul Mosley and Brandon Whitaker ... The former walk-on was awarded a scholarship at the end of fall camp ... One of six 2006 Bears playing with degree in hand, he received his undergraduate degree in Aug. 2006.

2005: As a junior, Price played in four games for the Bears ... Rushed six times for 34 yards on the season, an average of 5.7 yards per carry ... Had three rushes for 10 yards against Samford, two carries for seven yards at Army and one tote for a career-long 17 yards against No. 2 Texas ... Also saw action against Missouri ... Played 17 snaps ... Named to spring Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll.

As a senior team captain, he rushed 175 times for 1,112 yards and 12 touchdowns and caught 17 passes for 347 yards and five touchdowns ...
