Samantha Diamond joined the Baylor football staff in January 2017. She serves as associate director of football administration.
Diamond spent four years working in the Temple athletic department and three years with the football program. Her final season at Temple in 2016, she served as the coordinator of football staff scheduling and special events/external camp liaison assisting in all matters related to scheduling and special events for the head football coach and staff. Her main responsibilities included coordination, securing availability, execution and scheduling of the various obligations required by the coaching staff as it pertains to interactions with Alumni Relations, the Office of the President, Board of Trustees, Advancement/Owl Club, various colleges on campus and Athletic Administration.
From 2015-16, Diamond served as the coordinator of football administration, responsible for managing the team's recruiting database. Diamond moved to Temple football after serving as a sports psychologist for the Temple volleyball team.
Prior to working with Temple volleyball, Diamond spent six months as a mental conditioning coach at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., serving over 1,000 student-athletes and campers.
Diamond earned a bachelor's degree in psychology from Temple in 2011, a master's degree in exercise science and sport psychology from Ithaca College in 2014, and a master's degree in education from Temple in 2016.
