Second-year transfer moved to defense during spring drills... Saw limited action in spring due to knee strain... Switched to safety after playing wide receiver during junior season.

2008 (Junior): Played 11 of 12 games as junior wideout in first season at Baylor, earned first letter... Made two catches on season and returned one kick... Named to Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll for fall 2008... Made debut in season opener vs. No. 23 Wake Forest, on special teams... Saw snaps at receiver in 10 of 11 remaining games, did not play in fourth game at Connecticut... Made first career reception vs. No. 1 Oklahoma, a 10-yarder... Returned one kick for 19 yards at No. 8 Oklahoma State in seventh game... Had a catch for 14 yards vs. No. 14 Mizzou in ninth contest.

Junior College: Kilgore College, Kilgore, Texas... 3-star rank by Scout.com... Caught 57 passes for 796 yards and 13 touchdowns for 2007 Rangers' team which finished 8-4 and earned Heart of Texas bowl bid... Originally signed with Art Briles' Houston program in 2005, enrolled at UH and did not play before transferring to Ranger [Texas] College, played as freshman in 2006... Selected Baylor over Houston, Syracuse, South Carolina and Illinois... Played for coach J.J. Eckert at Kilgore.

Also played basketball and regional qualifier in both 400 meters and triple jump... Played for Bulldogs' coach Gary Carney at District 26-2A school.
