Beau Trahan is in his fourth season as Baylor's director of high school relations and director of operations.

A former four-year letterman at the University of Texas (1999-2002), Trahan started his collegiate playing career as a quarterback and then moved to safety. He was a special teams standout during his Longhorn playing career and received his bachelor's degree (kinesiology) from UT in 2002.

Following his Longhorn player career, he launched his collegiate coaching career as a graduate assistant coach on the defensive side of the ball at Texas in 2003. From UT, Trahan joined Art Briles' staff as an offensive graduate assistant coach at Houston in 2004.

From 2005 to 2008 Trahan worked as an assistant coach, working with quarterbacks, and teacher at Dickinson High School, which is outside the Houston area.

Trahan and his wife, Lauren, have one daughter, Abigail. Lauren is a Waco native who graduated from Vanguard High School and works as a doctor of Anesthesia at Providence Hospital.
