Baylor Football Spring Scrimmage 2014



Third-year sophomore... Big, talented cornerback, vying for starting position... Timed at 4.48 in 40-yard dash.

2013 (Redshirt Freshman): Played all 13 games as reserve cornerback and on special teams... Earned first career letter... Totaled five tackles (all solo), one interception and one forced fumble on season... Saw snaps from scrimmage in six of first seven games, played exclusively special teams in five of final six contests... Made collegiate debut, and took first snaps at cornerback, in season-opening win over Wofford, recorded no stats... Made career-first interception (seven-yard return) and had one tackle in win over Buffalo in second game... Had one tackle in win at Kansas in seventh game... Made season-high three tackles (all solo) and forced fumble in win at TCU in 11th game.

2012 (True Freshman): Sat out first season at Baylor and participated on practice squad, redshirted to retain eligibility... Dressed for two of 13 games, but did not see any game action.

High School: All-state defensive back from Wheatley High School in Houston, Texas... Played defensive back and quarterback under head coach Cornelius McFarland... Named first-team 2011 Class 4A All-State as defensive back by Associated Press following senior season... Led WHS to 2011 area finals... Played for Texas team in Texas-Louisiana High School All-Star Bayou Bowl... Totaled nine interceptions, including two returns for touchdowns, 33 pass breakups and 32 solo tackles as senior in 2011... In final high school game, rushed for 185 yards and two TDs, passed for 245 yards and two TDs and returned two interceptions for TDs ... Helped team to 2010 District 22-4A title and bi-district championship with 6-6 overall record as junior... Played varsity basketball and ran track.
