MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
• Baylor leads the all-time series 3-1-0.
• This is Army's first game at Waco.
• Baylor is 3-2-0 all-time against teams currently playing as Division I-A Independents.
• Baylor is 4-23 under head coach Guy Morriss when the opponent scores at least 20 points.
• Baylor is 7-3 under Morriss when leading at halftime.
• Baylor is 11-7 under Morriss when scoring 20 or more points.
• Baylor is 1-3 under Morriss in overtime games.
• Baylor's last overtime game was last year's loss to Oklahoma (37-30 2OT) on Oct. 22, 2006.

TEAM NOTES
• Baylor has not allowed a first-quarter score in five straight games. That is the longest such streak since the Bears held seven consecutive opponents scoreless in the first quarter during the 1990 and 1991 seasons (last two games of 1990 and first five of 1991).
• Baylor's 77-yard scoring drive in the first quarter was its longest scoring drive of the season both in terms of yardage and in time of possession (5:40).
• Army's third-quarter punt return for a TD was the first allowed by a Baylor team since 2004 (at Oklahoma State).
• Baylor has committed nine or more penalties in three consecutive games.

• Three Bears made their first career starts:  IR Joe Bennett, DE Jason Lamb and CB Alton Widemon.
• QB Shawn Bell eclipsed the 4,000-yard passing plateau on his career, becoming the seventh player in school history to do so.
• Bell is now sixth on Baylor's career passing yards chart with 4,155 yards.
• Bell passed Jeff Watson for career completions with 421; Bell had 26 tonight.
• Bell extended his streak of a 200-yard games to six tonight, one game shy of Don Trull's school record.
• WR Trent Shelton has recorded at least one reception in 37 consecutive games, extending his school record.
• Shelton moved into fifth place on Baylor's career receptions list; he now has 128.
• Shelton moved into fifth place on Baylor's career yards receiving list; he now has 1,499.
• WR Dominique Zeigler has recorded at least one reception in 24 consecutive games. He also has at least two receptions in each of those 24 games.
• Zeigler moved into sixth place on Baylor's career receptions list; he now has 125.
• Zeigler moved into 10th place on Baylor's career yards receiving list; he now has 1,330.
• OS Maurice Linguist earned a career-best 11 tackles in a single game.
