MISCELLANEOUS NOTES
Today's matchup was the first-ever series meeting between Baylor and West Virginia.
Baylor had its 9-game winning streak snapped. It tied for the 2nd-longest in program history, one behind the school-record 10-game string spanning 1936 and 1937.
Baylor lost for the first time when scoring 40+ points in the Briles era. BU is now 18-1 when scoring 40+ points since Briles' arrival.

TEAM NOTES
Baylor's 63 points scored were its 2nd-most ever in a conference game (SWC & Big 12), while its 70 points allowed were also 2nd-most even in a conference game.
For the first time in program history, Baylor had 3 100-yard receivers in a game (Terrance Williams 314, Tevin Reese 120, Lanear Sampson 109).
Baylor broke its single-game passing yards record with 581 yards, besting the previous record of 485 yards vs. Oklahoma (11/19/11).
Baylor's 7-0 lead in the first quarter was the first time West Virginia trailed in a game this season.
Baylor has now scored 30-plus points in 10 consecutive games, tied for the 4th-longest active streak nationally.
The Bears have also scored 45 or more points in eight consecutive games.
Baylor posted 700 yards of offense, its 10th consecutive game with more than 500 yards.
Baylor's 700 yards of total offense were the 2nd-most in program history (777 yards vs. Washington in 2011 Alamo Bowl win).

INDIVIDUAL NOTES
WR Terrance Williams set Baylor single-game records with 17 receptions and 314 receiving yards. The previous records were 12 receptions (6 times) and 208 receiving
yards (Kendall Wright vs. Oklahoma on Nov. 19, 2011).
Williams now has 2,169 career receiving yards, making him the 5th 2,000-yard receiver in program history and moving him into 4th on Baylor's career receiving yards list.
Williams had his 8th career 100-yard receiving game (3rd this season).
QB Nick Florence broke Baylor's single-game passing record with 581 yards, passing Robert Griffin III's 479-yard game vs. Oklahoma (11/19/11). Florence held the
record (427 at Missouri on Nov. 7, 2009) before RG3 broke it last season.
Florence eclipsed the 300-yard mark for the 5th time in his career. He has surpassed 300 yards in the 3rd quarter in each of the last 4 games.
Florence's 1-yard rushing TD in the fourth quarter was his first rushing TD of the season.
Florence had a career-high five touchdown passes.
WR Tevin Reese improved his reception streak to 27 consecutive games with at least one catch, the 10th-longest active streak nationally.
Reese had a 65-yard TD reception in the second quarter, giving him 11 career receiving TDs, including 4 this season.
Reese had 120 receiving yards for his 6th career 100-yard receiving game.
WR Lanear Sampson improved his reception streak to 34 consecutive games, the second-longest active streak nationally.
Sampson caught a 67-yard TD pass on the last play of the first half for his 8th career receiving TD (3rd this season).
Sampson had a career-high 109 receiving yards, his 1st career 100-yard receiving game.
WR Antwan Goodley's 7-yard receiving TD in the 4th quarter was the first of his career.
Glasco Martin's 7-yard TD run in the first quarter was his 7th career rushing TD. He has a rushing TD in all four games this season.
Martin added a 1-yard rushing TD in the second quarter, giving him his first career multi-TD game and his 8th career rushing TD.
PR Levi Norwood's 45-yard punt return in the second quarter was a career long, passing his previous best of 37 yards against SMU (9/2/12).
RB Jarred Salubi's 1-yard TD run in the first quarter was his 9th career rushing TD (2nd of season).
DB Josh Wilson's 11 tackles were a career high, passing his previous mark of 3 tackles against ULM (9/21/12).
LB Bryce Hager (career-high-tying 15 tackles) had his 4th consecutive game with 10+ tackles.
P Spencer Roth had a 54-yard punt in the 3rd quarter, booted both of his punts inside the 20-yard line and allowed no return yardage.
K Aaron Jones made 9 extra points, tying his own single-game school record and bringing his program-leading career total to 250 points.
C Ivory Wade made his team-leading 37th-career start on Friday.
