First-year head football coach Art Briles will be featured at six Baylor Network events over the next two weeks, beginning with the 2008 National Signing Day party in Waco on Feb. 6 and continuing with appearances in Fort Worth, Dallas, Austin and Houston.
"I am looking forward to getting out the next few weeks and meeting Baylor fans throughout Texas," Briles said. "These events will give me an opportunity to discuss our first recruiting class, spring practice and the 2008 season."
The annual National Signing Day event will be held in the Galloway Suite at Floyd Casey Stadium from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Feb. 6. Briles is scheduled to speak to the fans at approximately 3:30 p.m. The Waco event will also include Head Baseball Coach Steve Smith's Heart of the Order program at Noon, as well as program updates from various Baylor coaches and administrators throughout the afternoon, culminating with the unveiling of Briles' first Baylor recruiting class.
On Thursday, Feb. 7, Briles is scheduled to appear at both a 12:30 p.m. luncheon at the Fort Worth Club and a 7 p.m. dinner at Dallas' InterContinental Hotel. On Friday, Feb. 8, the tour heads south to Austin for an 11:30 a.m. luncheon at the Marriott Austin Downtown Convention Center.
The Baylor Network tour concludes on Friday, Feb. 15, with a pair of stops in Houston--an 11:30 a.m. luncheon at The Junior League of Houston and a 7 p.m. dinner at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel & Convention Center.
