Football Road Game at Buffalo Moved to Friday for ESPN Telecast

Feb. 28, 2014

WACO, Texas -- Baylor's 2014 road football game at Buffalo has been moved to Friday, Sept. 12, to accommodate a national telecast on ESPN, the Mid-American Conference announced Friday. Kickoff time will be announced at a later date.

The game against the Bulls is one of five road games the Bears play in 2014. Baylor will host six games in its beautiful new stadium, the state-of-the-art McLane Stadium located on the Brazos River. A 12th regular-season game, the annual Shootout vs. Texas Tech, will again be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. Dates for all games are subject to change for television purposes, and kickoff times will be announced at a later date.

Head Coach Art Briles enters his seventh season at Baylor in 2014 and returns 51 returning lettermen from last year's Big 12 championship team that won a school-record 11 games and played in the Fiesta Bowl, the school's record fourth straight bowl appearance. The Bears open the 2014 season Aug. 31 by hosting SMU in the debut of their new on-campus home at McLane Stadium.

Baylor is conducting spring drills Feb. 28 through April 5. BU's Pro Timing Day is scheduled for March 19.
