TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Baylor senior inside receiver Tevin Reese has been named to the 75-player preseason watch list for the 2013 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation announced Tuesday.

Reese is one of 10 Big 12 Conference players on the watch list for the award that has been given annually to the nation's outstanding college football receiver since 1994. Former Bear Terrance Williams was one of three finalists for the award a season ago, and Kendall Wright was a semifinalist in 2011.

A Temple, Texas-product, Reese was also on the 2012 Biletnikoff Award preseason watch list. He totaled 53 receptions for 957 yards and nine touchdowns in 2012, helping him earn honorable mention All-Big 12 honors. Reese's nine TDs ranked fifth on Baylor's single-season list, and his 18.06 yards-per-reception was eighth-best in program history. He excelled in big plays downfield, as eight of nine touchdown catches went for 40 or more yards.

In 39 career games played over three seasons, Reese had tallied 149 receptions for 2,235 yards and 16 touchdowns. A two-time All-Big 12 honoree, he enters his senior season ranked eighth in program history in career receptions, fifth in career receiving yards and sixth in career receiving touchdowns.

The award recipient is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of over 200 prominent college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers. Ten semifinalists will be announced Nov. 18, three finalists will be revealed Nov. 25, and the winner will be presented live on Dec. 12 as part of The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN.

Reese is joined by Brandon Carter (TCU), Mike Davis (Texas), Trey Metoyer (Oklahoma), Tracy Moore (Oklahoma State), Jalen Saunders (Oklahoma), Jaxon Shipley (Texas), Josh Stewart (Oklahoma State), Jordan Thompson (West Virginia) and Eric Ward (Texas Tech) to give the Big 12 a total of 10 receivers on the watch list.
