WACO, Texas - Single-game tickets for Baylor's seven-game 2011 home schedule will go on sale Monday, Aug. 8, at 8 a.m. Fans may purchase tickets online, in person at the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office in the Ferrell Center or by calling 254.710.1000.

Baylor will host seven home games this fall at Floyd Casey Stadium beginning with TCU on Sept. 2. Other games include: Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 17), Rice (Parents' Weekend, Sept. 24), Iowa State (Oct. 8), Missouri (Homecoming, Nov. 5), Oklahoma (Nov. 19) and Texas (Dec. 3).

Kickoff for the Bears' nationally-televised season-opener on ESPN against the 2011 Rose Bowl champion Horned Frogs is set for 7 p.m., while the SFA and Rice games will both start at 6 p.m., with the Rice contest selected for an FSN Southwest telecast. BU's Dec. 3 game against Texas will be televised on ABC at either 2:30 or 7 p.m., while start times for the remaining contests will be established as the Big 12 television partners make their selections six to 12 days in advance of the game.

Online ticket ordering for Parents' Weekend and Homecoming special events will also be available on Aug. 8 through individual websites for these two weekends. Event tickets and merchandise for Parents' Weekend can be found at www.baylor.edu/parentsweekend/buy and for Homecoming at www.baylor.edu/homecoming/buy. In addition to the exciting football game day activities, those attending Parents' Weekend may purchase tickets to After Dark, a showcase of student talent, and Homecoming tickets to Pigskin Revue, an encore performance of the winning acts from All University Sing and the Baylor Alumni Network's Reunion Buffet Receptions, a new tradition that brings alumni together to reminisce and reconnect.

Tickets to the 2011 Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shoot at Cowboys Stadium, Nov. 26, between Baylor and Texas Tech, are also still available. Tickets are priced at $120, $65 and $40 each, and groups of 20 or more may take $10 off the $65 and $40 price-points. Baylor students may purchase two tickets for this game for $30 each at the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office with their student ID.

While single-game tickets go on-sale Aug. 8, there is still time for Baylor fans to purchase their 2011 season football tickets, too. Super Fan season tickets for sections A, K and Q may be purchased for $160 each for adults and $120 for youth (age 18 and under). The ever-popular season Family 4 Pack is available for $360, and includes four tickets in the North End Zone to every Baylor home game, which works out to $90 per person for the season or $12.86 per person, per game.

Baylor Athletics also offers groups of 20 or more the ability to purchase tickets to home games for as little as $20 each (TCU, Oklahoma, Texas Tech and Texas games are excluded). Questions about group tickets may be directed to Baylor Athletic Marketing at 254.710.8110.

Nearly 15,000 season tickets have been sold for the 2011 Baylor football season, the school's most since at least the 1998 season, and the fourth straight year (and seventh time in last eight years) Bears' season sales have increased.
