The award has been given annually to the nation's most outstanding college football receiver since 1994. Former Bear Terrance Williams was one of three finalists for the award a season ago, and Kendall Wright was a semifinalist in 2011.
The award recipient is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of over 200 prominent college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers. Ten semifinalists will be announced Nov. 18, three finalists will be revealed Nov. 25, and the winner will be presented live on Dec. 12 as part of The Home Depot College Football Awards Show on ESPN.
