WACO, Texas - Baylor's Oct. 20 football game at No. 15 Texas will be televised live on ABC from Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium at either 2:30 or 7 p.m. CDT, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday. The kickoff time will be announced Sunday, Oct. 14.
Today's announcement ensures that 17 of the last 18 Baylor games will air on national television. The UT game will be Baylor's first appearance on ABC in 2012 and the second on the ABC/ESPN networks. The Bears have had four games on the FOX sports networks.
Baylor is 3-1 on the season and hosts 23rd-ranked TCU Saturday, Oct. 13, at Floyd Casey Stadium. The powerful Bears offense leads the nation in passing, averaging 416.5 yards per game, and is ranked second in total offense at 601.5 yards per game. Senior quarterback Nick Florence leads the nation individually in total offense, averaging 434.5 yards per game, and senior wide receiver Terrance Williams leads the nation in receiving yards with 166.8 yards per game.
