Art Briles' Bears host No. 15/16 Oklahoma State on the 100th anniversary of Baylor's first Homecoming.
Oct. 23, 2009
Fans attending both this weekend's Baylor football game against Oklahoma State and the school's annual Homecoming parade can utilize two shuttle services to travel between campus and Floyd Casey Stadium. Kickoff for the Bears and Cowboys is set for 11:32 a.m. and the game will be televised nationally on Versus Network.
The game-day Homecoming shuttle will have pick-up on 4th Street between Penland and Russell Halls. Shuttles at that location will begin running at the conclusion of the parade, which is approximately 10:30 a.m.
Fans wishing to park away from Floyd Casey Stadium are also encouraged to ride Waco Transit's BU Tailgater. This FREE shuttle begins two hours before the game and runs approximately every 15 minutes. The Tailgater can be boarded at Vitek's, Heritage Square and across from Heritage Quarters with drop off at Touchdown Alley. For more information, contact Waco Transit at 254.750.1900.
Unlike previous seasons, there will be NO shuttle service from the Ferrell Center to Floyd Casey Stadium.
It is expected that most all of the grass surface parking lots around Floyd Casey Stadium will be available on Saturday, despite the heavy rains Central Texas has experienced over the last few weeks.
Tickets, which are priced at $40 for adults and $25 for youth (2-18; under age 2 do not need a ticket) are still available and may be purchased at the Ferrell Center ticket office, by phone at 254-710-1000 or online at baylorbears.com.
