BU-TT Shootout Kickoff Set For 5 PM In Arlington

Nov. 9, 2009

WACO, Texas - Baylor's Nov. 28 football game vs. Texas Tech at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington will kickoff at 5 p.m. CST and be televised nationally on FSN.

The series, under the title of the Texas Farm Bureau Insurance Shootout, was moved this spring from campus sites to the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for the 2009 and 2010 seasons. The 2009 game is officially a Baylor home game and the 2010 contest is considered a Texas Tech home game. The 2010 contest will be played at the Cotton Bowl in Fair Park.

Fewer than 1,700 tickets remain for this year's Shootout and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com.

The Baylor-Texas Tech Shootout is the third of five college football games to be played in the first-year facility which is home to the NFL's Dallas Cowboys. Previous college games included Oklahoma vs. BYU and Arkansas vs. Texas A&M. The Big 12 Championship game will be played at Cowboys Stadium on Dec. 5 as well as the Cotton Bowl on Jan. 2, 2010.

The Baylor-Texas Tech Shootout will be Baylor's seventh televised game of the season (two ABC, two Versus, two FSN and one FOX Sports Southwest).

BAYLOR-TEXAS A&M KICK - Kickoff time has also been set for the Bears-Aggies game in College Station Nov. 21 at 2:30 p.m. CST and the game will not be televised.
