WACO, Texas – Baylor’s Nov. 24 football game against Texas Tech at Cowboys Stadium has been set to kick off at 1:30 p.m. CT and will be televised live nationally on FOX, the Big 12 Conference announced Monday.
Baylor will be playing on FOX for the first time in program history, and the game against Texas Tech will be the Bears’ eighth on the FOX family of networks this season. BU has played on FSN five times, once on FX and once on FCS. The Tech game will be the 22nd time in the last 23 games that Baylor has played on national television.
Additionally, the Baylor men’s basketball home game against College of Charleston, which is also on Nov. 24, has been set to tip off at 8 p.m. on ESPN3.
Baylor (4-5, 1-5 Big 12) hosts No. 1 Kansas State (10-0, 7-0 Big 12) at 7 p.m. Saturday at Floyd Casey Stadium in a game that will be televised on ESPN. Following the K-State game, Baylor takes on Tech over Thanksgiving weekend, and then the Bears close the regular season with a home game against Oklahoma State at a time to be announced on Dec. 1.
The Bears’ offense ranks second nationally in passing with 367.7 yards per games and total offense at 564.0 yards per game, and the Bears are seventh nationally in scoring with 42.7 points per game.
Senior quarterback Nick Florence leads the nation individually in total offense with 398.4 yards per game and passing yards with 354.6 yards per game, while senior wide receiver Terrance Williams leads the nation in receiving yards with 159.0 yards per game and ranks fourth with 8.6 receptions per game.
