Nov. 18, 2013

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Baylor junior wide receiver Antwan Goodley was named one of 10 semifinalists for the 2013 Biletnikoff Award, the Tallahassee Quarterback Club Foundation, Inc., announced on Monday.

The Biletnikoff Award has been presented annually to the nation's outstanding college football receiver since 1994. Goodley is one of two from the Big 12 that made the final 10 cut (Texas Tech's Jace Amaro) for the honor named after Florida State's National Football Foundation and College Football Hall of Famer Fred Biletnikoff.

Goodley currently ranks fifth in the country and first in the Big 12 will 119.4 receiving yards per game and 11 touchdown catches. His touchdown catches rank tied for third all-time on the BU single-season list and his 1,075 receiving yards are fourth. With four catches for 101 yards and a 48-yard touchdown against Texas Tech last Saturday, Goodley became just the fifth Baylor receiver to have a 1,000-yard season. His sixth 100-yard receiving game moved him into a tie for eighth all-time at Baylor in career 100-yard games. Earlier this season, Goodley earned the Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award for Player of the Week honor after setting career highs of 11 catches for 182 yards and two touchdowns against Iowa State.

Goodley is the featured receiver in the nation's most prolific offense, which leads the country with 61.2 points per game and 684.8 total yards per game and is third in passing yards per game with 384.4.
