2006 Baylor Football Commercials

Fishing

Hikers

Campsite

Baylor athletics and The Richards Group introduced three TV commercials Friday that will be part of a comprehensive multi-media campaign to promote the Bears' 2006 football season. All commercials were shot on-location last month at Dallas' Boulder Park by Directorz.

In addition to the television commercials, radio, print and billboards are a part of the promotional campaign. The first TV commercial, "Fishing," features senior All-America wide receiver candidate Dominique Zeigler (Killeen, Texas) and will begin airing July 17. The commercial will also debut on the department's athletic web site, baylorbears.com, on July 17.

The second TV spot, "Hikers," stars senior cornerback C.J. Wilson (Terrell, Texas), a 2006 Thorpe Award candidate. The final spot, "Campsite," features senior offensive tackle Travis Farst (Cedar Park, Texas). Wilson's commercial will begin airing in late July with Farst's hitting the airwaves the first part of August. Both spots will be added to baylorbears.com once they have aired on commercial TV.

Season tickets for the Bears' seven-game 2006 home schedule may be purchased through the Baylor Athletic Ticket Office and are priced at $225 for all Floyd Casey Stadium premium seating areas and $165 for all sections with bench seating areas.

The Bears, who are coming off both their best season on the field (5-6) and in the stands (average attendance of 38,889 per game) since 1995, open the 2006 campaign Sept. 3 on Fox Sports Net against 2005 Houston Bowl and Mountain West Conference champion TCU in Waco.
