Bears Finish 11th at Morris Williams

AUSTIN, Texas - The Baylor men's golf team wrapped up play at the Morris Williams Intercollegiate with a third and final round 309 at the University of Texas Golf Club on Tuesday. The Bears finished 11th overall with a three-day 916 (300-307-309) at the par-71, 7,412 yard course. Oklahoma State won the tournament with a three-day total of 11-over (863). Oklahoma State's Morgan Hoffmann of (72-70-70=212) and USC's Tom Glissmeyer (69-70-73=212) tied to share top individual honors. Baylor was led by Peter Fallon. Fallon, a junior from Richardson, Texas, finished tied for 23rd overall carding a three-day total of 225 (72-77-76). Bill Alcorn had the second lowest total for the Bears with a final round 7-over, 78 en route to a three-day total of 230 (73-79-78). Joakim Mikkelsen finished tied for 50th with a three-day total of 233 (77-78-78). Cody Paladino shot a final-round 82 for a three day total of 234 (78-74-82) which was good for a tie for 58th. Freshman Morten Bergen rounded out play for Baylor, firing a three-day total of 236 (81-78-77) and tied for 71st. Baylor will be back in action on April 18-19 in College Station at the Texas A&M Invitational.
