Baylor's men's golf team shot a third-round score of 299 Tuesday to finish seventh in the Cleveland Golf/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate at the Osprey Point Golf Club in Charleston, S.C.

The Bears dropped three spots from their fourth-place standing after two rounds and finished with a three-round 887 total (291-297-299). Alabama's three-round 869 topped the 15-team field.

Senior Jimmy Walker shot a team-best 72 for Baylor Tuesday, and finished the tournament in a tie for 24th (70-81-72).

Baylor senior Worth Williams, who led the tournament through two rounds, shot a 76 in the third round and finished with a two-over-par 218 (71-71-76). Williams finished in a tie for seventh place individually.

Fellow Senior Brandon Sanders shot a one-over 73 in round three, and finished in a 32nd-place tie with a 225 (76-76-73). Waco's Adam Meyer, a true freshman playing his first collegiate tournament, shot a third-round 78 and finished tied for 38th with a 227 (74-75-78). Sophomore Garrett Froggatte hit an 84 Tuesday and finished 65th overall with a 239 (80-75-84).

The Bears' next action is Sept. 18 and 19, when they travel to Toledo, Ohio, to compete in the Toledo Invitational.
