Baylor's men's golf team is in a fourth-place tie after round two of
the Cleveland Golf/Kiawah Island Intercollegiate in Charleston, S.C. Monday.
Senior Worth Williams is tied atop the individual leader board after the
first two rounds, shooting two rounds of 71. His two-round 142 tied him with
Billy Lowry of Tulsa.
The Bears, who shot rounds of 291 and 297, are tied at No. 4 after Day 1
with the host Cougars of the College of Charleston. Tulsa leads the field,
followed by LSU and Mississippi State.
Baylor's Adam Meyer, a true freshman from Waco, stands in a tie for 26th
individually, carding scores of 74 and 75 in his first collegiate
tournament.
Rounding out the scoring for the Bears were senior Jimmy Walker (t-35th,
151), senior Brandon Sanders (t-44th, 152) and sophomore Garrett Froggatte
(t-54th, 155).
The tournament will conclude with the final round Tuesday at the Osprey
Point Golf Club.
