ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Baylor men's golf team, ranked No. 27 nationally in the Golfstat standings, is in third place through two rounds of the Wolverine at Radrick Farms Saturday.

Baylor fired a 2-under (285-289=574) to finish the first day. Host Michigan leads the field by 11 strokes after shooting 21-under (277-278=555). Arkansas is in second place overall at 10-under (278-288=566). Michigan's Lion Kim leads the field after shooting 8-under (69-67=136).

Junior Cody Paladino is tied for sixth overall at 4-under (69-71=140), carding back-to-back sub-par rounds Saturday. At one point during the first round, Paladino was tied for the lead. Paladino's first-round 69 is his lowest round of the fall season.

Joakim Mikkelsen and Lorenzo Scotto are both tied for 12th place overall at 1-under. Scotto shot a 3-under 69 in the first round and followed it up with a second-round 2-over 74. Mikkelsen shot an even-par 72 during the first round before carding a 1-under in the afternoon.

Sophomore Morten Bergan is tied for 39th at 4-over (75-73=148), while Michigan native Payne Gniewek finished the first day tied for 73rd at 12-over (78-78=156).

The final round of the 2009 Wolverine at Radrick Farms will begin with a shotgun start at 7:30 a.m. CT. Live scoring will be available online at
