Junior Ryan Baca (70-72=142) shot a combined 142 and is currently tied for sixth place at the Stonebridge Invitational in McKinney, Texas. The Bears as a team are in 11th, sitting twenty-four shots of the lead held by Notre Dame heading into the final round of 18 Tuesday.
Freshman Jeremy Frye (74-73=147) shot three-over-par through the first two rounds and is in a tie for 18th. Senior Jon Antunes (80-75=155) sits at eleven-over-par through his first two rounds, while Jeremy Alcorn (78-80=158) is tied for 74th, and Will McDonald (78-81=159) is in a tie for 79th
Baylor (600) as a team shot twelve-over-par. Notre Dame (576) shot even par through the first two rounds and holds a six shot lead over Wichita State (582) and host SMU (582). Vanderbilt (583) sits just seven shots off the lead in fourth while Lamar (587) rounds out the top-five.
Tuesday the Bears will try to rebound and win their first tournament title under first-year head coach Greg Priest.
The final 18 holes of the Stonebridge Invitational will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m.
