Antunes (68-75-75= 218) shot a strong opening round of 68 to eventually tie for 5th place. Meyer (73-71-77=221) shot a closing round of 77, placing 13th overall.
Southeastern Louisiana University topped the 19-team field, by shooting 862. Lamar University finished a far 2nd with a score of 874. University of Texas-Arlington and Jacksonville State took 3rd and 4th place, respectively. Baylor (894) finished 5th overall.
Freshman Ryan Baca (69-77-76=222) shot an impressive first round 69 to finish tied for 19th and Junior Jamie McLeary (72-76-75=223) also shot his best round of the tournament to finish tied for 21st. Sophomore Will Doughtie (71-79-82=232) finished with a tied score of 60th and Freshman Derek Abel (78-77-80=235) finished with a tied score of 74th overall.
This is the Bears eighth straight tournament to finish in the top five.
Baylor will next compete on April 5 and 6th when the Bears travel to Laredo, Texas to play in the Border Olympics hosted by Texas A&M.
