WACO, Texas - Baylor's men's golf team will continue its fall season by playing at the Country Club of Louisiana Intercollegiate on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 27-28, in Baton Rouge, La.

The tournament boasts a competitive 15-team field that includes Baylor, Arkansas, College of Charleston, Georgia Southern, Kent State, LSU, Mississippi, Mississippi State, North Carolina State, North Florida, SMU, Southeastern Louisiana, Tulane, UAB and Vanderbilt.

The format of the Invitational consists of 54 holes beginning with two 18-hole rounds Monday starting at 7:30 a.m., and a final round Tuesday.

The Country Club of Louisiana Golf Course is a 7,060-yard par-72 course.

Prior to a one-year hiatus in 2002, UAB looks to defend it's title that they won in 2001, tying a tournament record of 856. Host LSU shares the tournament record with them when they won the event in 2000.

The Bears have finished in the top-10 in their last three regular season tournaments.

In Baylor's last outing of the fall, the Bears finished 10th at the Stonebridge Invitational in McKinney, Texas. The team was lead by Freshman Jeremy Frye who finished tied for 15th.
