Men's Golfers Ranked 21st Nationally

WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's golf team is ranked 21st in the country in the most reacent Golfweek/Sagarin performance poll, released Sunday. It is the highest ranking in the school's history.

Along with the team accomplishment, three players are ranked among the top 100 players naitionally. Sophomore Adam Meyer from Waco is ranked 47th, freshman Ryan Baca from Richmond, Texas is ranked 55th and junior Jamie McLeary from Tayside, Scottland, is ranked 83rd.

As a team, the Bears have finished the fall season by winning two of their final three tournaments and have finished in the top five in seven of their last nine tournaments.

The defending Big 12 champions will begin their spring season on Feb. 12 in Houston when they compete at the Rice invitational.
