BALTIMORE -
After three days of doubles play, Baylor's final
two men's teams
lost at the T. Rowe Price National Clay Court
Championships.
Baylor's Pawel Gajdzik and Johannes Michalsky won
their quarterfinal round in
the main draw early Saturday morning, beating Alex
Fiedler and Dietrich Haug of
Pacific University by a score of 6-4, 6-4. The
pair lost in the semifinal
round, however, to Clemsonis Josh Goffi and Darrin
Knight, 6-4, 6-3.
In their semifinal consolation round, Johann Jooste
and Csongor Bibza fell to
BYUis Gert Vilms and Damien Ward, 7-5, 6-3.
The Baylor men's next action comes at the Fluitt
Collegiate Classic in
Lexington, Kentucky, to be held October 1-3.
