STAT OF THE DAY:
3 - The number of Baylor players in the semifinals of the HEB Intercollegiate singles draw.
"We are certainly happy to have a chance to win the tournament. The biggest thing is we are learning a lot. A big part of the process is to get out and play. We certainly didn't play with the level of execution that we hope to later, but I think generally the guys fought pretty hard. Hopefully, we can play a little bit better tomorrow." - Matt Knoll, head coach on singles play
TOP QUOTE #2:
"These are teams that have played together, so we were hopeful they would do a little better, but we haven't even practice doubles for a second. I think it showed. These teams will be good teams for us down the road. We just need for them to get a few more matches." - Matt Knoll, head coach on doubles play
Baylor players will take part in the singles semifinals starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday at the Hurd Tennis Center. Pradella faces OU's Alvarez, while Lupieri and Lenz face off in the other semifinal. The winners of those matches will play in the final, which will be later in the day.
