MANSFIELD, Texas. - After a perfect 3-0 Sunday, all three Baylor men's tennis player competing at the Futures of Mansfield Men's $15k are now just one win away from qualifying for the main draw of the event being held at the Walnut Creek Country Club.
Third-seeded and 38th-ranked Julian Lenz defeated Brandon Donaldson 6-1, 6-1 to advance to the final round of qualification where he will face Canadian Zachary White who has also only given up two games in the event.
No. 60 Mate Zsiga dropped Venezuela's fourth-seeded Luis Fernando Ramirez in straight sets 6-3, 6-3 to set up a final round matchup with Romanian Vasile-Alexandru Ghilea.
Seventh-seeded freshman Vince Schneider defeated fellow Baylor player Robert Verzaal, who is not with the team during the fall semester, 6-3, 6-4. He will continue his run to qualify for the main draw with a final round matchup against Haig Schneiderman who got past Canadian Saul Shrom 6-1, 6-0 in the second round.

All three Baylor players are scheduled to begin play at 10 a.m. on Monday. Lenz will face Zachary White on court three while Mate Zsiga will face off against Vasile-Alexandru Ghilea on court four. Freshman Vincent Schneider will look for his qualifying win against Haig Schneiderman on court seven.
