MIDLAND, Texas - Baylor's men's tennis players completed competition in the Racquet Club Collegiate Invitational at the Midland Racquet Club on Saturday. The doubles duo of David Galic and Michal Kokta was eliminated in the semifinals by the eventual tournament champion.
Matt Brown, the lone Baylor singles competitor left in the competition, lost in the quarterfinals to Texas' Ditmar Kutrovsky 6-3, 6-3.
In doubles, Brown and Lukacs suffered a round of 16 loss at the hands of Pepperdine's Omar Altmann and Richard Johnson while Galic and Kokta defeated Daniel Omana and Gonzalo Bienzovas of UT-Arlington. Galic and Koktaa moved on the the semifinals with a victory over Texas' Kitrovsky and Josh Zavala. The tandem's run in the tournament ended by a score of 8-4 to Blake Strode and Colin Mascall of Arkansas who went on the win the doubles championship on Sunday.
