Men's Tennis' O'Connor Places Second in Consolation of ITA Region VI Tourney

FORT WORTH, Texas - Baylor men's tennis player Sean O'Connor finished second in the singles consolation bracket on Monday at the ITA Region VI Tournament.

After losing in the second round of the main draw, O'Connor won fourth straight matches in the consolation bracket before losing in the finals on Monday. The Baylor sophomore lost 8-5 to Texas' Ron Kloppert.

The Region VI tournament marked the end of the fall competition for the Baylor men. The spring season begins Jan. 12-14 at the National Collegiate Tennis Classic in The Woodlands, Texas.
