WACO, Texas - The Baylor men's tennis team, ranked at the No. 4 spot, hosts conference rival No. 29 Texas A&M Tuesday, April 3 at 6 p.m. at the Baylor Tennis Center. Fans are encouraged to "Crowd the Courts" in efforts to help set an NCAA regular season attendance record.

The Bears secured their ninth consecutive win and remain undefeated on the home court after defeating No. 14 Pepperdine this weekend. Baylor is currently 15-2 overall this season and 1-0 in conference play, while Texas A&M currently holds a 14-5 overall record and 1-0 in the Big 12. The Aggies lead the series with the Bears 11-30-1.

"Our match with Texas A&M is a tremendous challenge for our team. They are well coached and extremely deep. Our players know from last year's loss in College Station how tough this match will be on Tuesday," said head coach Matt Knoll.

Leading the Bears with nine straight wins and a 20-6 overall record is Lars Poerschke, tied at the No. 13 spot. No. 16 Michal Kokta, No. 93 Dominik Mueller, and No. 124 Matija Zgaga also received honors in the latest Fila/ITA Collegiate Rankings. In doubles, Zgaga and David Galic were listed at the No. 43 spot.

Jerry Makowski, ranked No. 67, is the only ranked singles player for the Aggies. In doubles, Bryan Wooten and Mike Beatty are ranked at the No. 56 spot.

The Bears return home Tuesday, April 10 when they host a double-header against St. Edwards at 3 p.m. and Texas-Arlington at 7 p.m.
