When did you start playing your sport?
When I was 3 years old.

Who has had the greatest impact on your career?
My dad.

What is the best part of being a college athlete?
Getting an education and playing a sport at the same time.

Favorite sport other than your own?

What is your nickname on the team and why?
Quinn because our fitness coach did not understand my name correctly, so on the daily workout sheets it always said "Quinn" instead of Gwen.

After meeting Coach Knoll, what was your first thought?
He always had a positive outlook on everything.

What is the most unique item in your locker?
A penny I received from Lars Poerschke.

What is the funniest moment from Baylor practice?
The coach asked a question, nobody knew the answer. Then he showed Denes the piece of paper with the answer, Denes looked at it. The coach asked him if he knew the answer, he said yes and when asked what the answer was he said he did not know.

Who are your favorite sports heroes?
Pete Sampras, Michael Jordan, Pavel Nedved.

What is the highlight of your sports career?
Winning the NJCAA national singles title.

What is your most embarrassing sports moment?
When I was playing for Laredo College, and my ex-girlfriend came to watch me for the first time and a ball came flying from another court and hit me right in the head.

What is the biggest challenge you have had to overcome?
This semester's ropes course with the team because of my fear of heights.



What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against ?
UT Austin and basically every other top 10 ranked school.

What is one thing Coach Knoll always tells you?
"You are a stud."

What is your favorite team road trip?

Who is your biggest fan?
Ned Boone.

Why did you choose to attend Baylor?
One of the best tennis teams and a good education combined.

What's the most important thing you've learned as a Baylor athlete?
Your body can handle a lot more pain than you can ever think.

What single thing will you most miss about Baylor when you leave?
The atmosphere of the home games.

Who is your all-time favorite Baylor athlete?
Lars Poerschke.

What is one thing you would change about Baylor?
Not so many quizzes and exams in every class.

As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give?
Work hard now; it will pay off later.

What are three words that describe you?
Disciplined, hard-working, quiet.

What song is stuck in your head right now?
Stronger by Kanye West.

What is your favorite T.V. show?

Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you.
That my best friends think I am hyper, although most people think I am quiet.

Name one thing you can't go a week without.

What is your dream job?
Professional video game player.

What's your most valued possession?
Cell phone.

Best non-athletic talent?
Video gaming.

Biggest fear?
Not getting a job.

Wasting time.

Nearly any kind of vegetable.
