It was the fourth straight season that the 15th-ranked Lukacs has been named All-Big 12 in singles. The Eger, Hungary, native, joins Johann Jooste, Benjamin Becker and Lars Poerschke as the only Bears to be named all-conference each of their four years at Baylor. Lukacs, who played all of his matches at the No. 1 spot in the Bears' singles lineup, was unanimously selected to the all-conference team. On the year, Lukacs has produced a 22-7 overall record, while going 18-6 in dual-match play and 4-2 in conference action. It was Lukacs' first time to be honored by the conference in doubles.
Rux, currently ranked No. 35 in the country, was a singles honoree for the second straight year, after leading the team with a 29-13 mark overall. The Kerrville, Texas, product has a 15-7 record in dual-match competition, but only a 2-4 mark in Big 12 play, while playing at the No. 2 position for the Bears' in singles.
Maytin (Valencia, Venezuela) is a first-time all-league selection in doubles after teaming with Lukacs to go 12-7 on the season and 2-4 in conference play. The duo is currently ranked No. 28 nationally and has played matches at all three spots in the Bears' doubles lineup.
The All-Big 12 honors are selected by the league's head coaches who are not allowed to vote for their own players.
