WACO, Texas – Baylor men’s tennis juniors Jimmy Bendeck and Will Little will compete in the Ivy-Plus Invitational, hosted by Princeton University at the Lenz Tennis Center, beginning Friday, Sept. 22-Sunday, Sept. 24.
No. 68 Bendeck will face Yale’s Ziqi Wang in the Tiger Draw, while Little matches up against Cornell’s Pietro Rimondini in the Nassau Draw in the singles opening round.
Additionally, Bendeck and Little will team up in doubles and take on Columbia’s Jack Mingjie Lin and Jackie Tang in the Orange Doubles Draw opening round.
The tournament will have four singles draws of 16 players each and four doubles draws of eight pairs. Each player will get four singles and three doubles matches in this weekend.
The first two rounds of doubles play will begin Friday at 8 a.m. CT, followed by a predicted noon CT start for one round of singles.
This weekend, 17 schools are set to participate, including: Baylor, Brown, Buffalo, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Florida, Harvard, Monmouth, UNC Asheville, Penn, Penn State, Princeton, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Yale.
