WACO, Texas - After a week off, the top-ranked Baylor acrobatics & tumbling team continues its 2018 campaign with a road meet at No. 10 Converse in Spartanburg, S.C., at 5 p.m. CT on Wednesday at Hannah Gymnasium.
The Bears (4-0) are 10-1 on the road and have won five straight under fourth-year head coach Felecia Mulkey. Overall, BU is riding a 12-meet winning streak in the contest and is coming off its best performance of the season in a 284.725-280.830 win over No. 2 Oregon on Feb. 24.
Baylor's first three wins of the season came against No. 8 Alderson Broaddus (267.435-251.360), at Concordia (Wis.) (276.940-230.845) and at No. 4 Quinnipiac (282.930-278.055). With each match, the Bears have produced a higher total score.
The Valkyries (2-1) posted back-to-back road wins to begin the season, topping King (262-249) and Georgetown College (256.770-247.440). Converse lost its last meet at home to Gannon on Feb. 27 (269.425-264.170).
