Graduate Assistant

Nicole Been (pronounced Bean) joins the Lady Bear basketball program as a first year graduate assistant. Her primary responsibilities include assisting with team travel, recruit correspondence and visiting teams. In addition to those duties she also coordinates the managers and ball girls and aides in the daily administration of the program.

Been, a native of Okemah, Okla., graduated with an Associates of Arts degree from Bacone College, where she was a member of the Warriors' basketball team. She then attended Oklahoma State University (OSU) where she graduated cum laude with a bachelor of science in Athletic Training. At OSU she was a student-athletic trainer for 2 ½ years and a facilities and event coordinator for football and men and women's basketball for one year. Been also coached basketball and soccer at the local high school and junior high school in Stillwater, Okla.

She is currently seeking her masters degree in Sports Management.
