Buckner averaged 11 points, 12 rebounds, two assists and one block per game as a senior ... Three-time first-team all-district selection ... District 11-5A Defensive Player of the Year in 2011-12 ... In February 2013, she was named Dallas Morning News' Player of the Week after leading a comeback over Rowlett, which was previously undefeated in district play ...
