Baylor Head Coach Kim Mulkey:

On the game:

"I don't think it was tough as much as I didn't want to over-coach. I didn't want to overlook this team and look towards conference. We were looking at conditioning. It's tough."

On Danielle Wilson:

"I wasn't going to play Danielle. She has an ankle sprain. When Danielle is ready to go, they will let me know."

Baylor Guard Angela Tisdale:

On Jessika Bradley:

"(Bradley) had a good night tonight. Going into conference play, that's a big plus."

Baylor Post Rachel Allison:

On the game:

"A lot of my points came from fouls, and the guards did get it in there."

On playing with Jessika Bradley:

"In practice we play every day. I think we work well together, just as well as Danielle and I do."

On starting conference play:

"We may not be ready tomorrow, but we have five or six practices until then. By the time conference comes, I'm confident we will all be able to play our parts."

Texas State Head Coach Suzanne Fox:

On the game:

"I thought we competed. In the second half we got into a lull for about six minutes where we did not do a good job blocking out. Baylor's interior and exterior play really took advantage of that and they got the second and third shot opportunities. I thought that gave them separation when we were struggling to find ways to score."

On Texas State's Defensive Effort:

"I think we are just preparing for our league opener next week. You have to be able to guard and you have to be able to rebound to be there and have a chance to win games both home and away. We have been working on our defense, and we were just trying to slow them down. Baylor has a really good and efficient offensive team. They can really score the basketball."
